May Reflection
On the 31st May, we celebrate Mary’s visit to her cousin Elizabeth. Not thinking of herself but of her elderly cousin, “Mary set out and went as quickly as she could to a town in the hill country of Judea to visit her cousin Elizabeth”. Mary brings the Good news to Elizabeth.
Nano also brought the Good News to those she visited - the sick, lonely and the elderly in their homes, garrets and mud cabins bringing them her compassionate presence as well as food, medicine and comfort. and whatever help she could. Today, the Presentation Sisters, their Associates, Friends of Nano and co-workers, ensure the continuation of the work and charism of Nano and her companions for the education of the poor and the relief of those exploited by unjust systems.
